ICORE APPOINTS A NEW BUSINESS MANAGER FOR HOSE Icore International, the leading developer and supplier of electrical interconnect and fluid transfer products to the defence, aerospace and transportation sectors, has appointed James Hart as Business Manager for Hose. In his new role, James will be responsible for all aspects of business strategy and development relating to the company’s extensive fluid transfer product range. Commenting on his appointment, James said, “The job is not without its challenges, given the current economic climate. In spite of this, the performance, quality and value-for-money of the Icore hose range, and the excellence of the service the company provides, are such that I have complete confidence that I will be able to spearhead a significant increase in market share over the coming months.” “In particular, I see great opportunities for our high performance hoses. Our customers are, for example, requiring hoses for use at increasingly high temperatures. With our exceptional products, we are well placed to meet those requirements. We’re also seeing a large and sustained increase in demand for our bulk hose, an area to which I shall be giving a lot of attention.” James Hart has worked as an engineer for Icore International and its predecessors for more than 15 years and has, therefore, in-depth knowledge of both the company and its products. During this time, he spent more than two years working as manager of the company’s applications department, an experience that has provided him with a real insight into the requirements of Icore’s customers and the practical problems that they face. Immediately prior to taking up his new role as Business Manager for Hose, James spent a year on secondment to the Icore IT Department, where he project managed the implementation of the company’s new ERP system.
