Megger’s Golf Tournament contributes $1,000 to Phoenix Children’s Hospital Dallas, TX – April 14, 2009. Megger’s 9th annual golf tournament has contributed $1,000 to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital to help the Cancer and Blood Disorder Department. The tournament, which was held at The Lakes of Ahwatukee Golf Course in Phoenix, AZ. on February 7, was well attended with 18 foursomes participating. For the second year in a row, in lieu of prizes, Megger’s USA Distribution Team made a contribution to the Children’s Hospital. The annual event was created by David Danner, Megger’s USA Distributor Sales Manager for his daughter, Tyler. Tyler Danner, 12 years old, is a cancer “graduate”, and was an in/out patient of the Children’s Hospital for more then 43 weeks. Tyler is now cancer free, and has been for well over a year. Jason Craig’s foursome (from Phoenix Children’s Hospital) won the event! “This is such a great event,” said Rick Bieber Megger CFO, “Megger is a real family and this type of event shows Megger’s dedication to its family.” Megger would like to thank all that attended for their continued support. Next year the tournament is tentatively scheduled to be held at the “Lakes” in Phoenix on February 13, 2010.Further information: Press enquires: |
