For medical, leisure goods, robotic and other applications requiring miniature gearheads with the lowest possible noise levels, products in the new Zeitlauf Gearmotors NoiselessPlus range, which are sold in [insert country] by motor expert, Delta Line Europe, are the ideal choice. NoiselessPlus gearheads set new standards for quiet running, with a typical noise output of just 35dB(A) – less than one quarter that of conventional products of a similar technology.
Confirmed by tests carried out in an independent noise certification laboratory, the near silent running of these innovative gearheads is achieved by enhanced gear cutting manufactured by Zeitlauf Gearmotors, a high precision gearbox manufacturer. This means that NoiselessPlus gearheads are also exceptionally smooth running and they achieve efficiencies of at least 90% per stage. These substantial efficiencies are made through machining, assembly and materials used in the manufacturing process.
Another key benefit of the innovative construction used in these products is their very high radial load capacity. With the output shaft supported by a double ball bearing and the output stage gears supported by a special cage, the units can withstand radial forces of up to 2700N without damage. Backlash has been reduced to a minimal – just 0.2º typical and 0.5º maximum.
In addition, Zeitlauf Gearmotors NoiselessPlus gearheads have very long operating lives. Their rated life is a full 10,000 hours but, in most applications, this is easily exceeded and can reach 30,000-40,000 hours without problems.
Due to their special construction and Zeitlauf’s technical knowhow, the gearheads can be supplied with reduction ratios up to 21:1 in a single stage, while most competitive products are limited to a reduction of 6:1 in a single stage. This enables very high efficiencies with at least 90% per stage, and other advantages being compact assembly and cost effectiveness. Two stage versions are also available with ratios up to 231:1.
NoiselessPlus gearheads from Delta Line Europe are available in 32, 42, 52 and 63mm versions. They are typically supplied as complete gearmotor assemblies mounted with brushless DC motors, but other motor options from Delta Line Europe are available to suit the requirements of specific applications.
